Made from 100% sheep milk, the Rustico Red Pepper cheese has crushed red peppers added to it. The Rustico Red Pepper is a semi soft and creamy cheese which comes from the Roman countryside. The red peppers add a unique spiciness to the cheese without overpowering it. It melts wonderfully and is therefore added to many Italian dishes like nachos, pizzas, pastas, Panini, etc. These cheeses are aged on wood in cellars for about a month and have the same base as that of the Cacio de Roma cheese.
