Flavoured with wild fennel and lavender pollen, Purple Haze is a goat's milk cheese produced by Cypress Grove Chevre in the stunning and scenic rocky northern California. The aromatic and herbaceous flavours offered by this fresh cheese confirm the Provencale/Mediterranean identity of Californian cuisine. Tastes great crumbled as a dessert with honey or stuffed into pitted Medjool dates with a prosciutto wrap. It pairs well with Pilsner, Witbier and wines such as Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling.The cheese has won 2nd place at American Cheese Society, 2013, third place at World Championship Cheese Contest 2014 and many more such awards.

Oh my this cheese grew on me. At first taste it tastes too strongly of fennel and reminded me of sausages, I tried it again and it tasted better :) try it with honey, it made it so much more yummier!
