White Lake is a small, multi-award winning, artisan cheese producer based near Glastonbury in the heart of Somerset. Milk is sourced from local herds and the cheese is made in small batches in a truly artisan way. Katherine is an artisan goat cheese with a slightly softer texture than other White Lake goats cheeses, made with traditional animal rennet and washed in Somerset Cider Brandy (another award winning product). Katherine has a stronger, more complex flavour and ‘farmy’ undertones. Because Katherine is produced using traditional animal rennet, it is NOT suitable for vegetarians.
