Jindi Brie is a cheese manufactured by Australian company Jindi Cheese Pty Ltd. This cheese is produced by George Ronalds and his team who concentrate on Camembert and Brie-style cheeses. Other cheeses connected with the name of George Ronalds include Jindi Camembert and triple-cream cheese. This unique full-flavoured cheese is produced using traditional method and has a unique taste. This creamy textured cheese has a pleasant flavour with a hint of mushrooms. The period of maturing takes four to five weeks. The golden yellow centre is enclosed by a fluffy white rind. After ripening it becomes slightly resilient when pressed. The smell is little musty and fungal. Jindi Bire pairs well with Sauvignon Blanc wine. Jindi brie has been awarded many a times as "Best Brie in the World".
